Chelsea Handler has spoken openly about her use of both psychedelics and cannabis as part of her mental health and wellness routine. She even took a microdose of psychedelic mushrooms before appearing on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, citing their ability to promote creativity and reduce anxiety. Handler also advocates for cannabis’ medicinal properties and supports legalization. She has described using cannabis to help with sleep and relaxation, and has emphasized the need to break down stigma and promote access to alternative therapies for mental health. Handler’s openness about her use of these substances reflects a growing interest among celebrities and in the research world for alternative approaches to wellness and a desire to promote greater awareness and acceptance of these powerful tools for personal growth and mental health. We’d like to note that cannabis use can lead to dependency, and like all drugs, nothing is a magic bullet so do your research before trying any substances. And sometimes people use magic mushrooms for fun which might not be everyone’s cup of (mushroom) tea – scroll below for a clip of Chelsea telling Conan about doing magic mushrooms with her staff on a camping trip.
